To scale B2B outreach without expanding headcount or administrative overhead, ServerBright engineered an autonomous, multi-stage lead generation and market intelligence pipeline. By combining enterprise-grade Agentic AI models, serverless cloud automation, and a custom Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) dispatch workspace, ServerBright transformed unstructured daily job alerts into enriched, high-conviction decision-maker targets.
The resulting system filters out market noise with zero-leakage precision, automatically identifies key technical decision-makers, generates personalised fractional consulting hooks, and provides real-time sector hiring trends to drive strategic marketing content.
As a specialised GCP and Red Hat Linux cloud infrastructure consultancy, ServerBright faced three core operational hurdles in its B2B outreach:
High Signal-to-Noise Ratio: Daily automated job notifications were flooded with recruitment agencies, staffing aggregators, and off-target cloud ecosystem postings (such as AWS-exclusive roles).
Stealth Agency Branding: Recruitment firms frequently mask themselves behind sleek tech branding or single-word company names, making automated filtering via standard rules or basic language models prone to false negatives.
Manual Outreach Bottlenecks: Researching individual decision-makers across public professional networks, drafting tailored outreach, and tracking campaign states manually created severe operational friction.
To solve this, ServerBright designed an intelligent, resilient serverless pipeline capable of running continuously in the background while keeping human review effortless.
The pipeline intercepts raw incoming email alerts on an hourly schedule using a serverless cloud execution framework.
Ecosystem Alignment: Incoming postings are evaluated against strict technical filters, instantly dropping roles focused on non-primary cloud platforms.
Hybrid Agency Exclusion: To defeat stealth agency branding, the system utilises a dual-guard approach: high-reasoning LLM prompts evaluate corporate intent, while a zero-latency programmatic blocklist intercepts known middleman entities instantly.
Sector Classification: The engine categorises valid hiring organizations into a standardised industry taxonomy (e.g., FinTech, HealthTech, E-Commerce, SaaS), establishing a foundation for downstream market intelligence.
Once a direct hiring organisation is validated, the pipeline deploys grounded search models to identify the primary technical decision-maker (e.g., CTO, Head of Infrastructure, Engineering Director).
In-Memory Caching: Prevents redundant API calls by caching organisation-to-contact mappings across duplicate postings.
Self-Healing Fallbacks: If grounded lookups cannot resolve an exact individual name with 100% confidence, the engine dynamically constructs a targeted, pre-encoded search URL for public professional networks, dropping a clickable 1-click investigation button directly into the workspace.
To maintain high outreach quality, ServerBright built a custom interactive sidebar panel directly inside its cloud data workspace:
1-Click Communication Drafting: Selecting a lead and triggering "Create Draft" automatically formats a personalised email inside the enterprise email service - dynamically parsing the decision-maker’s first name, injecting the sector-tailored value proposition, and appending standard corporate signatures.
Automated Workflow Cycling: Clicking "Mark Actioned & Next" stamps the record as complete, triggers dynamic cell formatting, and immediately advances selection to the next unprocessed lead in the queue.
By aggregating sector classification data across hundreds of active postings, the pipeline doubled as a real-time market research engine. Surges in sector-specific hiring (e.g., a spike in FinTech cloud compliance roles) feed directly into a serverless content generation workflow, pushing timely social media drafts and thought-leadership concepts to marketing delivery platforms.
The Lead Dispatch panel, which interacted with captured data on a Google Sheet.
To run reliably without ongoing engineer intervention, the system incorporates enterprise-grade execution guardrails:
Master Execution Stopwatch: To respect strict 6-minute cloud runtime limits, a master execution timer calculates elapsed time continuously, safely suspending processing and preserving queue state before ceiling timeouts occur.
Self-Healing Rate Limits & Circuit Breakers: Built-in cool-down routines handle API rate spikes (429 errors) gracefully, while circuit breakers shut down loops cleanly under hard quota limits without corrupting workspace data.
Global Model Routing: Utilising global AI model endpoints with configured internal reasoning budgets ensured high accuracy when distinguishing between direct employers and complex staffing agencies.
90%+ Reduction in Manual Research Time: The transition from manual searching to a 1-click dispatch panel reduced lead processing time from minutes per prospect to seconds.
Zero Agency Leakage: The combination of internal reasoning models and programmatic blocklisting completely eliminated recruiter noise from the active outreach queue.
Closed-Loop Marketing Alignment: Real-time sector trend monitoring provides clear data on which industries are actively expanding their cloud infrastructure footprint, directly shaping ServerBright's website messaging and social content strategy.
This was a fun project that used free (or low-cost) resources in an intelligent way - but it only just qualifies as a "proof" of concept.
The idea of a sales lead generation tool is of great interest to many - for obvious reasons. But this approach also has significant shortcomings, perhaps the largest of which is the actual qualification of the leads themselves. The system cannot do that; there are simply not enough signals to make any kind of judgement to this effect. Similarly, identifying who is the most likely contact for each opportunity is something of a shot in the dark for the AI agent, which uses the combination of reasoning and Google's search index to come to a best guess.
While it was fun to run, it became obvious how this tool alone could easily incur costs into the tens-of-pounds each month. Reviewing this process objectively, one would have to weigh up the benefit of that spend, versus the outreach one might get with traditional marketing, where a similar spend might be more effective.
There is also the hidden cost of labour. While this process produced a fairly clean list of contacts - where it could, there was still the manual process of being the Human-in-the-Loop, reviewing and often rewriting the AI-suggested opening pitch, connecting via LinkedIn, and manually tasking one's self to follow up, etc etc.
We ended up with a list just shy of 500 "leads" - but have yet to execute all outreach as a result of obtaining them, and record the success of this approach.
Where it has immediately shown value is in new ideas for process improvement - one of ServerBright's key value-adds.
